Welcome to NSW 2010 – “The Lancaster Bomber”. Named after two great Lancashire exports – a great beer and the most successful allied bomber of WWII. The aeroplane has given us our military theme for the weekend and the beer, well............you know what to do with that!
We have the usual great range of sports on offer, all in a city – centre location. At the University of Cumbria Lancaster Campus.

The Golf competition will take place on the Friday as usual. The venue we have selected for this is the picturesque course at Bentham, this is located some 20 minutes drive outside Lancaster. Accommodation on campus on the Thursday night will be available for all those who want it. Both for those wanting a good night’s sleep before the golf and also for those wanting to get a head start on the partying!

As the Campus is located in the centre of Lancaster we have chosen to make the town itself the main focus of the Friday night activities. Although there will be some hospitality at the campus for those too hung over or too wary to sample Northern nightlife! We expect most of you to venture into town and sample the entertainment we have lined up for you.  We have not only arranged a variety of entertainment options throughout the town but have organised concessions on the beer and free entry to pubs and clubs for tablers wearing their NSW 24 hour pass. If you don’t have one you’ll be considered AWOL and may be confined to barracks! We will provide you with a programme of events and map of the town so that you can explore fully the nightlife of the student town of Lancaster.

Saturday daytime sees us hosting the sports on campus and in the town. You can see the sports programme by checking out the rest of the website. We have tried to keep travelling to a minimum throughout the weekend and so they should all be on campus or nearby.
Saturday night is, as usual, the prizegiving dinner with entertainment afterward. This will also be held on campus and will have a military theme.
